Unable to activate NW Demo Model

Hello Everyone,

I am trying to activate NW Demo Model in SAP NW AS 7.3 Trial. I am performing steps given in following guide:

Whenever I click on "Activate" and later click "Refresh" it just stays with RED circles. Unfortunately, the guide doesn't tell which user and client instance I should be using or does it really matter?. So I tried SAP* and DDIC. SAP* simple fails to perform such step. DDIC is able to at least run it in both 000 and 001 client but it fails and stays at RED circles.

Later, I setup BW and created a user (BWUSR) with SAP_ALL and SAP_NEW profiles. I followed the steps which I learnt from a friend. So I ran RSA1 transaction and I can see that NW Demo Model InfoArea is available in active version but not actual InfoCube and InfoObjects. Again, I tried to activate the demo model (with BWUSER and transaction rsfc) and same result i.e. RED circles.

Please note that apart from demo model activation issue I can create InfoObjects and load data from flat files.

Can someone please explain what I am doing wrong?
