Hi All,
As per business requirement I have started SDA (smart Data Access) connection to MSSQL 2012.
While setting up the connection I got below error.
I have looked at OS level for ODBC drivers and didn't found any.
Based on SAP HANA Admin Guide started installing unixODBC Driver Manager on SUSE linux SP3 (without checking for prerequisite lib's for uinxOBDC I have completed installation and noticed that odbc.ini file has no data in it)
From msodbcdriver files I have used ./install.sh verify to check the unixODBC Driver instalaltion, During the verification step it failed
when I checked the unixODBC driver version it is 2.3.1.XX. SUSE Linux is on 11 SP3, HANA is 1.0 SPS 09.
Microsoft says that unixODBC versions greater than 2.3.0 doesn't support MSSQL 2012 connection http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/hh568452%28v=sql.110%29.aspx
How should I proceed now?
- Remove unixODBC driver and re-install the correct version?
- HANA SPS 09 & SUSE 11 SP3 have any dependencies for this?
Please suggest
Regards,
Raj
